LA Times and Hartford Courant slash Book Reviews

The LA Times has closed its stand alone Sunday Book Review section, while the Hartford Courant laid off their books editor, Carole Goldberg.

Book reviews are vital to young and up and coming writers, like those we publish in One Story. The less independent places there are for reviews, the less chances these writers have to be introduced to new readers.
