Jobs at One Story

Summer Interns — One Story:

We’re seeking energetic, inspired interns to join our team for the summer (June - August). Interns will gain experience in all aspects of a small non-profit literary publisher, including reading submissions, assisting with educational programming, helping out at events (including our annual Summer Writers Conference), social media, and more.

This position requires a 3-day a week commitment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in our Brooklyn office (with the exception of the Summer Writers Conference the third week of July, when interns will work a full week).

Applicants should be current students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or have graduated in Spring 2019. They should also have a demonstrated interest in the art form of the short story. We offer a modest stipend.

Prospective candidates should send a cover letter and CV to jobs by April 10th. In your cover letter, please be sure to indicate why you are interested in working at One Story.
